Thunder
I’m a consistent coyote finder time after time, you can pick up my booming voice anywhere on the hunt. My long ears and dark coloring make me an easy guy to spot. Hunting or not, I’m a big softy always quick to snatch up any opportunity to get some loving! I play contract bridge in my spare time.
-
Blaze
I’m a unique hound with plenty of good runs under my belt. Not only will I find a line but I will use my sight as well. My fellow hounds have learned to trust my lead and run with me when I go blazing forward! This has been a banner year for me as a pro bass angler as well.
-
X-It
I have proven time after time that I am a top player. Like Blaze, I will not only use my nose but my sight as well when it comes to chasing the coyotes. Ambitious, smart, and dedicated, I will always be at the finish line with the best of the best. Most people don’t know that I have won Olympic Gold in the pentathlon.

Peter
As the oldest hound in the kennel I have proven myself time and time again. I am a consistent leader and a valuable asset when it comes to teaching the puppies and moving the pack forward on the hard line. I use my eyes and nose to work through the toughest routes Mr. Coyote will take. At the noble age of eight, I am still showing up the up-and-coming young bucks! My superior sniffer has made me a Level 5 Master Sommelier. They call me “Le Nose".

Cool Whip
I have really caught the bug! I was a tiny girl that had a slow start, one time I even had to be carried over a coop. However, once I was a little dark horse but now I’ve become a front runner every time. My unique dark brown and white coloring makes me easy to spot in the hunt field. I love playing Candy Crush, I have the highest score in the pack!

Wyoming
I’m one of the more seasoned hounds, I bring a lot of knowledge to our pack. I have helped shape and train many first year puppies, including some of my own: Blick, Bradford, BLegs and Blake. I’m a hard worker with my nose always to the ground and I will never give up even when everyone else has! I have also been on Dancing with the Stars. Len Goodman gave me a 10 for my two step.
-
Eli
I had quite the shock this year! I came from hunting on the east coast with green farmlands and large tree cover to our wide open desert, about as opposite and it could get. It took me several hunts to get used to my new surroundings but now you would never know that I had hunted anywhere else. I’m an American hound with a booming voice, will cast far and wide looking for a scent and I’m quickly honored by the pack when they hear me. The Metropolitan Opera is trying to sign me.
-
Tess
Another east coast transplant. I’m a big girl and had only hunted lightly at the end of my first season back east. Then I promptly moved to Nevada and had a whole new landscape to master. I have taken to the desert at full speed, eager to prove that I fit in with the Big Kids in the High Sierra! Not only am I a superstar in the hunt field but I am also a member of MENSA.
-
BLegs
I’m a bit aloof and independent, my first year I was not on the top list right away. I was always meandering away on my own mission, so much so that I was almost re-located twice before opening hunt. Lucky for you, no one else wanted me and after a few successful hunts my internal lightbulb lit up. Since then I’ve have been on fire! I am so excited to continue to flourish. This summer I will be directing a film for Universal Studios starring Emma Stone.
-
Indie
I’m nothing but heart! I will try until there is truly no scent to be found. Polite and quiet at the check, I make sure to conserve my energy for he important things. Even though I am getting up in age, I am still a frontrunner! I won the Hawaiian Ironman a record 4 times.
-
Timber
I moved to Nevada with my sister, Tess. The change in landscape didn’t slow me down, you'll find me at the front of the pack learning from and honoring more experienced hounds. I’m a big boy with a big heart and love my people when I’m not working. In my spare time I collect rubber ducks and am close to beating the Guinness World Record.
-
Ice Cream
I’m one of the younger pack members and this is my first season learning the ropes. I made a big splash during our opening hunt, you could find me right on the heels of my first Tally Ho! Smart, speedy, and eager to learn, I can’t wait for many more years of happy hunting. I am a top ranked Grand Master of chess.
-
Bam Bam
My first full season hunting has been a blast so far! Honest and loyal, you’ll easily spot my big spots at the front of the pack learning from the older hounds. Not only a star in the hunt field, I’m a master cuddler in my downtime. My sister Bubbles and I are the lead stars in a remake of The Parent Trap.
-
Apple
Known as a troublemaker in my younger days, I am growing into a consistent performer. I still love to play with the puppies but eagerly get down to business when I need to. You will easily find me and all my excited barks at the fixture; I love my people but love talking to them more! I have the largest garden gnome collection in the state.
-
Yabba Dabba
I joined SNH at the end of last season after hunting all around the country. I’ve adapted well to my new desert surroundings and my near-completely black coloring makes me super easy to spot in the sage when I’m out working. I hold the world championship in crossbow shooting.
-
Birdie
I’m a more seasoned hound, showing the puppies how to get to work. I love going out with my pack, keeping my nose to the ground, and working a hard line. I’m easy to find from my deep voice across the hunt field to my no-tail wiggles. I am the original Weeki Wachee Mermaid.
-
Hepburn
I’m a young and excited hound, sometimes straying a little too far away to play. But my sister Hark is a real show-stopper and helping me learn how to work a line. Last year I beat Shaun White’s halfpipe record.
-
Denma
I’m a bit of an aloof hunter, preferring to stay on the outskirts of the pack. I have keen eyesight to spot coyotes in the distance. And with my speed and stamina, I’ll be the first to run them to ground. I’ve won the Great British Baking Show Championship.
-
Garlic
Hey y’all, Garlic here! I’m a sweet gal who loves her après-hunt snuggles and a determined scent hound when working. I cast far and wide looking for a good line and my pack rushes to honor me once I open. You’ll find me at the fixture working out my zoomies before we take off for the day. I get so excited to work, I can’t control it! I’m also a famed EGOT winner.
-
Dealer
Last season I wasn’t the most trustworthy pup in the pack but this season, I’m really getting the swing of this hunting thing. I’ve got a great voice to call out when I catch the scent of a good line and my unique red coat is a one-of-a-kind at SNH. I’ve hiked to the summit of Mount Everest twice.
-
Blick
When the hunt begins, you can count on me to be the first to pick up the scent. My nose is sharp—sharp enough to follow a coyote’s trail over miles of brush, sage, and rocky terrain. My legs were made for running, my lungs for long distances, and my heart? Well, that’s pure drive. I hold the record for most bungee jumps off the Golden Gate Bridge.
-
Chef
I don’t sniff the ground to find my quarry, I see it—I see it all. When I’m on the chase, my world moves in slow motion. Every move of Mr. Coyote and my fellow hounds, sharp in my eyes. You’ll find me at the front of the boy pack because when the time is right, I run. Fast. Really fast. I’m the founder of Reno’s first Skijoring Club.
-
Chili Dog
I’m continuing to be a strong up-and-comer in the hunt field. Learning from my sister, Coolie, on how to be real superstar out there. I’m eager to learn, excited to work, and always ready for a good run. I’m easy to find in the hunt field; tall and fluffy, you can’t miss me. I’ve been named TWIPY’s Greatest Pinball Player.
-
Hendricks
You’ll hear me before you see me at the fixture, echoing through my hound trailer as I wait for the signal that it’s time to go! I can get a little excited and lose focus, but thankfully my teammates keep me in-line and help remind me to get back to work. I’m a younger fella who is still learning but have all the qualities to make a top performer soon! I’ve been awarded the ISU’s Lifetime Achievement in figure skating.
